Terms of Service
Effective date: November 2026
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This is an English translation. If the Spanish and English versions conflict, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HeyAmadeus (the "Service"), including the web app at https://app.heyamadeus.tech and the approval app at https://approve.heyamadeus.tech (the "Approval App"). The Service is operated by Angel De Leon, as an individual, based in Mission, Texas, United States ("we" or "us").
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
The Service is a Spanish-first personal artificial intelligence (AI) assistant. Through a web chat, the assistant can:
- Plan tasks and follow up on them until they are closed.
- Create reminders.
- If you turn it on, run routines you schedule and keep working on tasks in the background, with help from internal helper assistants.
- Remember things you ask it to (Memoria tab).
- Search the internet and check web pages for you.
- Read, create, edit, and delete events in your Google Calendar, if you connect your Google account.
- Search, read, and summarize your Gmail messages (read-only), if you connect Gmail.
Any action that changes something (for example, creating or deleting an event) requires your explicit approval in the Approval App, confirmed with your passkey or Face ID. The Approval App also sends you push notifications.
In the Qué hizo (What it did) tab you can review your history of tasks, approvals, actions, and errors.
3. Private beta
The Service is in private beta. This means that:
- Access is by invitation only, and we may limit or withdraw it at any time.
- Features may change, fail, be interrupted, or be removed without notice.
- There may be errors, data loss, or periods without service.
- There may be usage limits (for example, a maximum number of web searches per day, or of routines, background runs, and AI processing per person per day). When one is reached, the work is postponed or skipped without changing anything.
- The Service is free during the beta. If we decide to charge in the future, we will tell you in advance and you can choose to accept or stop using it.
4. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. It is never directed to children under 13. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and can accept these Terms.
5. Your account and your passkeys
- You sign in with passkeys (WebAuthn). You are responsible for keeping secure the devices and accounts where your passkeys are stored.
- You must give us true information (name and email) and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- If you believe someone accessed your account without permission, tell us right away at hello@heyamadeus.tech.
6. Approvals: you have the final say
The assistant can propose actions, but it performs them only when you approve them. So:
- Before approving, review the action carefully (for example, the date, time, guests, or the event to be deleted).
- You are responsible for the actions you approve and their consequences.
- Once approved, an action may not be reversible (for example, a deleted event).
- If an action doesn't look right, reject it.
- This also applies to background work: routines, background tasks, and helper assistants never take an action outside the Service on their own (sending, posting, buying, booking, calling, or changing your calendar). They always stop and ask for your approval.
- You are responsible for the routines you create and for reviewing what they show you. You can pause or delete them, or use Detener todo (Stop all) in the Rutinas tab, at any time. We do not guarantee that a routine runs exactly on time or that a background task finishes.
7. AI answers can be wrong
The Service uses third-party AI models to generate replies. These models can produce information that is incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate, misunderstand what you ask, or show unreliable search or web page results.
- Check important information before making decisions.
- Do not use the Service as a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or other).
- We do not guarantee that reminders or notifications will always arrive on time. Do not rely on the Service for critical or emergency matters.
8. Third-party services
The Service connects with third-party services, such as Google Calendar and Gmail (through Google OAuth), Make.com (as a backup calendar sync), AI model providers (Groq and Cloudflare Workers AI), the You.com Search API, the websites the assistant visits for you, and your browser's push notification services. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or operation of third-party services.
You can disconnect Google Calendar or Gmail in the Conexiones (Connections) tab or revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
9. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use it for illegal or fraudulent activities or to harm others.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or deceive others (for example, through calendar invitations).
- Send spam or unsolicited content through the Service's features.
- Ask the assistant to sign in to sites or accounts that are not yours or that you are not allowed to use.
- Try to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or to bypass security measures, including the approval system.
- Interfere with the Service's operation, overload it, or use automated means to abuse it.
- Reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.
- Use the Service to generate content that infringes third-party rights or the AI providers' usage policies.
- Share your beta access with others without our permission.
10. Your content
You keep the rights to what you write and the data you connect (your "Content"). You give us a limited permission to store, process, and transmit your Content only to provide the Service to you, keep it secure, and comply with the law, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to use the Content you share. Do not include or share other people's data without their permission.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, its design, the HeyAmadeus name, and its logos belong to Angel De Leon or his licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them, except the limited right to use the Service under these Terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including Google Calendar and Gmail data. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.
13. Suspension and termination
- By you: you can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@heyamadeus.tech. We will delete your account within 30 days of your request (encrypted backups are deleted automatically in about 60 days).
- By us: we may suspend or close your account, or end the beta, at any time, with or without notice, especially if you breach these Terms or if needed for security or legal reasons.
- When it ends, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", AS A BETA VERSION. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL WORK WITHOUT INTERRUPTIONS OR ERRORS, THAT AI ANSWERS WILL BE CORRECT, OR THAT YOUR DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANGEL DE LEON WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OPPORTUNITIES, OR APPOINTMENTS, ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, AI ANSWERS, ACTIONS YOU APPROVED, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.
IN ANY CASE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in that case, they apply only to the extent permitted.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Angel De Leon against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your Content.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and both parties accept that jurisdiction. These Terms do not include arbitration: any dispute will be resolved only before those courts.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 15 days in advance when possible. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you are deemed to accept them.
19. General provisions
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Severability: if any part is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce any part, that does not mean we waive it.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our permission; we may assign them, for example, in a merger or sale of the Service.
- Language: these Terms are available in Spanish and English. If the two versions conflict, the Spanish version prevails.
